Let’s
face it; we are in a society that wants fast results in everything
we do. However, sport’s training is not something that will
ever have results over a session or two; it takes months of training
if not longer depending on an athlete’s goal.
We are a firm believer in “base” training so that
athletes will build up strength and stamina over time before
we jump into any type of speed training. This not only will improve
an athlete’s speed over time, but will ultimately prevent
injuries that can easily be avoided.
While our post collegiate athletes will receive workouts of
high intensity levels, our high school and youth athletes will
receive top notch workouts at a youths pace.
Proper stretching and fundamentals of track and field are taught
to build a solid foundation for training that will carry over
to other sports. The stretching drills will improve agility and
flexibility that will help prevent injuries. Nutrition basics
will also be included in sessions when needed.
Over a short period of a few months, our athletes have proven
time and time again to have improved results that are carrying
over into meets and other sports in an atmosphere that has helped
build self esteem.
