Clement Chukwu is a silver medalist from Lagos , Nigeria and an Eastern Michigan graduate where he majored in Urban and Regional Planning with a minor in Geography. Chukwu is a two-time outdoor All-American in the 400 meters and a four-time 200-meter dash, the 400-meter dash and as a member of the distance-medley relay team.

Chukwu was a vital member of Nigeria 's 2000 Summer Olympic 4 x 400 meter relay team ran an incredible 2:58.68 and a 3:01.06 in the preliminaries.

He also competed in the 1996 Olympics in the 400-meter dash, he failed to pass the quarter finals after running a 45.24. Although he didn't take gold at the 1996 Olympic Games, he did win gold medals at the 1997 Universaide and 19998 African Championships and a silver medal at the 1999 All-Africa Games. He was also the Nigerian Champion in 1998 (45.50) and 1999 (45.37)

Although Chukwu is currently taking a break from competition, he remains close to the club and regularly offers his input on the direction the club is headed.
